How to get to Pagosa Springs
Highway and Road Travel: The main routes to and from Pagosa Springs are US Highway 160, which passes to and through the town on a roughly east west axis, and intersects with State Highway 84 coming from Chama, New Mexico, to the south.
Coming from the east, from Pueblo or Colorado Springs, just turn on to Hwy 160 at the Walsenburg exit, and stay on that road over Wolf Creek Pass into town. Coming from the west, from Durango or Farmington, you will stay on Hwy 160 heading east and come right into town on that road. Coming from the south, from Santa Fe or Albuquerque, stay on Hwy 84 until you take a sharp left turn in Chama NM, continuing on 84 to the "T" at the east edge of Pagosa Springs, then turn left into town.

Airport and Air Travel: Stevens Field (Archuleta Regional Airport) is located three miles northwest of Pagosa Springs on Piedra Road.
Durango-La Plata County Airport, located 60 miles west of Pagosa is served by four air carriers and also Rio Grande Air, based in Albuquerque. Take Hwy 160 into Pagosa Springs.
