Pagosa Springs Events

Archuleta County Fair
The first weekend in August, see the products, arts and crafts of this area. Experience the fun of a local County Fair and watch the 4-H rodeo and livestock show. Also, the 4-H barbeque has become a traditional event. View their website.

ColorFest / Balloon Rally
Near the end of September, Mother Nature dresses our mountains in glorious fall colors. While the mountains are ablaze with the gold of the aspen, you can enjoy our annual Balloon Rally, Balloon glow, wine festival, and Community Picnic and Concert.

Four Corners Folk Festival
An annual event held over Labor Day weekend atop Reservoir Hill. This outstanding music festival features three days of music by regional, national, and international acts, plus camping, arts and crafts, food, and workshops. For more information, please call 970-731-5582, Toll Free 1-877-472-4672.

4th of July Parade, Carnival, Red Ryder Rodeo, Arts & Crafts
Pay tribute to Independence Day with 2-3 days jam packed with Fourth of July festivities. Shop along the river where over 70 vendors display their handmade wares in two parks, or have the family enjoy the carnival experience. The Red Ryder Rodeo provides thrills and chills at the County fairgrounds. The best small town parade kicks off the 4th and a picnic, music, and fireworks end the day's many activities.

Music in the Mountains
From the third week of July through the first week of August, enjoy classical music concerts. Included are chamber music events, a concert with the full festival orchestra, and a free family outdoor concert for "kids of all ages" in Town Park featuring "Peter and the Wolf.".

WinterFest / Balloon Rally
The second weekend in February brings out the best activities of winter for visitors and locals alike. Enjoy spectacular morning balloon ascensions, ice skating, downhill and cross-country skiing, and event with sleds and snowmobiles. Winter fun for the whole family.
